Everything I don’t know about the Internet
Manuel Castells, talks about informed bewilderment in the Guardian article. This concept really relates to what I focus on with information literacy and digital literacy.
What is Google doing to our brains and is it making us stupid? More importantly, how do we guard against the negative changes that technology use may create, but take advantage of the positive impacts it may have?
Naughton provides us with nine ideas to really think about how we consider the Internet. One is “Complexity is the new reality” and in many ways in efforts to make things simpler and more accessible, we do live in a much more complex information world.
